Download Data

The Downloads tab allows you to export the following data:

  • Citations Report
  • Keyword Frequency
  • Tagged Citations
  • Risk of Bias
  • Data Extraction
  • Snowball Report
  • Team Analytics
  • AI Responses

To download any of the above, click Download and select the required option. Each download option will send the requested file to your registered email address. All download requests can also be found on the Export Dashboard tab of the main project. See below for further instructions for each topic.

Citations Report #

When you click on Citations Report in the Downloads menu, the Export Citations window appears. Select the filters you want to download by clicking on the check boxes, and then select the Export Format. Once the Export Format has been selected, click on Export. A message appears confirming a download link will be sent to your registered email address. Click on OK.

You can export the Citations Report in the following formats:

  • RIS
  • BIBTEX
  • EndNote
  • PubMed
  • CSV
  • Excel

Keyword Frequency #

When you click on Keyword Frequency in the Downloads menu, an Excel file is automatically downloaded. Open the Excel file and review the extracted information. The file contains all keywords, the number of articles in which the keyword appears, the number of times the keyword appears across these articles, as well as the keyword PICO designation.

Tagged Citations #

After the screening process is completed, you can download the tagged citations for further processing.

When you click on Tagged Citations in the Downloads menu, a message appears confirming a download link will be sent to your registered email address. Click on OK.

All citations in the project will be downloaded in an Excel file with columns indicating their current status regarding inclusion and exclusion at title/abstract and full-text levels. There will be additional columns for all tags, with the columns indicating if a record has each respective tag. 

Risk of Bias #

Once Risk of Bias has been completed, you can export the results to an Excel file by clicking on Downloads > Risk of Bias. A message will appear with a drop-down menu to either extract All User Extractions or Adjudicated Answers Only. After you have made your selection, click on Export. A message appears confirming a download link will be sent to your registered email address. Click on OK.

Data Extraction #

Once Data Extraction has been completed, you can export the results into an Excel file by clicking on Downloads > Data Extraction. A message will appear with a drop-down menu to either extract All User Extractions or Adjudicated Answers Only. After you have made your selection, click on Export. A message appears confirming a download link will be sent to your registered email address. Click on OK.

Alternatively, instead of downloading the exported results from your email, you can navigate to Export Dashboard and then click on the Download icon under Action to download the Excel file from there.

Open the Excel file and review the extracted information. The file contains information such as the PICO Portal CiteID, the full article citation, the reviewer’s name, etc.

Snowball Report #

A Snowball Report is a forward and backward report that expands a citation search by collecting literature, policies, reports, and assessment tools that are relevant to the research topic, identified through the references and bibliographies of included studies. 

When you click on Snowball Report in the Downloads menu, a message will appear with a drop-down menu to select the Snowball Type, either Backward or Forward. After you have made your selection, click on Export. A message appears confirming a download link will be sent to your registered email address. Click on OK.

Team Analytics #

When you click on Team Analytics in the Downloads menu, a message appears confirming a download link will be sent to your registered email address. Click on OK.

AI Responses #

When you click on AI Responses in the Downloads menu, a message will appear with a drop-down menu to select either Risk of Bias or Data Extraction. After you have made your selection, click on Export. A message appears confirming a download link will be sent to your registered email address. Click on OK.
